How it works

The address book that keeps itself current

The phonebook has been a dead, static list for 40 years. SyncUp makes it live.

Share or scan a card

Swap cards by tap or QR code. Whoever you save lands in your SyncUp address book.

Everyone keeps their own card

People maintain their own details. You never type anyone's number or title in again.

Your address book stays current

When they change job or number, their details refresh for you automatically, and SyncUp nudges you to reach out.

The difference

Other cards go stale. SyncUp doesn't.

Paper cards and other digital cards share your details once, then go out of date the moment anything changes. SyncUp is the only one where the details keep updating after you've shared them.

What you can do

More than a card

Capture anyone in seconds

Scan a SyncUp code and they're saved to your address book. The other person needs nothing but a phone camera.

Find people you already know

SyncUp spots the people in your phone who already use it. When you both have each other saved, connect in one tap.

Open from any browser

Send your card as a link. Anyone can view it and save you straight from their browser, with or without the app.

Built on trust

Real people, and your data stays yours

Real people, not spam

Every account is tied to a confirmed email and phone number, and you only ever connect when both people already have each other saved. No strangers, no spam.

Your contacts stay private

When SyncUp finds people you know, the numbers and emails in your phone are turned into one-way codes before they ever leave your device. We can't read them, and they can't be turned back into your contacts.

Yours to keep

Export everything or delete your account from inside the app, any time. We never sell your data and never show ads. Built to meet Saudi Arabia's PDPL.

FAQ

Good questions

Is it free to join the waitlist?
Yes. Joining the waitlist is free and just takes your email. We'll let you know the moment SyncUp is available.
When does it launch?
SyncUp is launching first in Saudi Arabia, on iPhone and Android. Join the waitlist and you'll be among the first to get in.
Do the people I save need the app?
No. Anyone can open your card and save you from a web browser with just their phone camera. Their details only update automatically if they're on SyncUp too.
How is this different from a business card or apps like it?
A paper card or another digital card shares your details once, then goes stale the moment you change job or number. SyncUp is the only one where the details keep updating after you've shared them, because each person maintains their own card.
What does "verified" mean?
Every account is tied to a real, confirmed email and phone number, and connections only happen when two people already have each other saved. That keeps the network made of real people you actually know, not anonymous strangers.
How do you protect my contacts?
The numbers and emails in your phone are converted into one-way scrambled codes on your device before anything is sent. We never see or store the real values, and the codes can't be reversed. You can export or delete everything at any time.
About

Built in Riyadh

The contacts app is the most important app you never think about, and the most broken. It hasn't really changed since the phonebook.

SyncUp started with a simple frustration: your address book is full of numbers that stopped working and job titles from three roles ago. We're building the living version, where the people you meet keep their own details current, so your network never goes stale. We're starting in Saudi Arabia, and we'd love you with us from the beginning.

Never save an out-of-date number again.

SyncUp is launching soon in Saudi Arabia. Join the waitlist and be first in line.
